Eliminate the Phlegm and the Mucus From Your Chest and Throat

Throat and nasal obstructions isn’t a life-threatening condition but if it is left for longer periods of time untreated it can lead to more serious health issues.

ACCUMULATED PHLEGM

This sticky substance has a protective role and can catch dust, viruses, and allergies. If there is too much of it we need to cough in order to expel it from our nose, lungs, and throat. If this phlegm isn’t eliminated it can obstruct the bronchial tubes.

 

NATURAL REMEDIES

GINGER TEA

The ginger has powerful antibacterial, antiviral, and expectorant properties and therefore it is great for this kind of problem.

Ginger (6 slices)

Peppercorn (1 tsp.)

Honey (1 tsp.)

Water (2 cups)

Boil the water and add the peppercorn and the ginger, boil it for a few more minutes and leave it aside to cool down. At the end add the honey and drink this amazing mixture twice per day.

HONEY AND LEMON

Both of them are full of antioxidants, antifungal, and antibacterial properties.

Honey (1 tbsp.)

Lemon juice (2 tbsp.)

Mix these ingredients and consume it 3 times per day.

STEAM INHALATION

Boil 4 cups of water and add ½ tsp. of thyme and 1 tsp. of rosemary. Remove the mixture from the heat, lean toward the steam and cover your head with a towel. Inhale for 10 minutes and repeat this procedure a couple of times per day.

TURMERIC

Mix 1 tsp. of turmeric powder and ½ tsp. of salt in some warm water and gargle with this mixture 4 times per day.

You can also drink warm beverages, apply warm compresses on the chest, increase the humidity in your home, and blow the nose regularly.
