Al Rahbi to hold Gulf Cooperation Council meeting

The Sultanate will host the 33rd meeting of the Committee of Undersecretaries and Deputies of Planning and Development Agencies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Muscat.

The meeting will be chaired by Talal bin Sulaiman Al Rahbi in his capacity as the Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Planning (SCP). At the meeting, the GCC undersecretaries will discuss issues related to planning and development, including the updated Comprehensive Development Strategy and the Demographic Reality Report. They will also discuss knowledge-based economy, competitiveness indicators in the reports as well as the indicators of the GCC Sustainable Development objectives and the follow-up on the General Framework of the Population Strategy.
