18th Muscat Festival opened on Thursday evening

Oman’s much awaited 2018 Muscat Festival opened on Thursday evening,at  two main venues Al Amerat Park and Al Naseem Public Park — lit up and decorated magnificently for the occasion.

Thousands of citizens and residents alike visited the two venues, where over the course of the coming 24 days musical, theatrical and cultural events will entertain visitors to the festival.

There will also be acrobatic events, educational programmes, contests and recreation programmes for children, cartoon characters, and a large number of food courts for visitors.

The festival gates will open from 4pm to 11pm on weekdays, and from 4pm to 12am on weekends. The Organising Committee of Muscat Festival has provided guidance panels outside Naseem Garden and Amerat Park, showing the locations of the events.
