Man dies after falling from mountain top in Oman

 An Omani citizen died after falling from a mountain in wilayat Al Rustaq, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has informed on Monday. 

In a statement issued online, ROP said the incident happened at Al Shams Mountain on the side Wadi Al Sahtan area in Wilayat Al Rustaq. 

"The Southern Al Batinah governorate Police Department, in collaboration with the Civil Defence Department, the Ministry of Defence, and the Air Force of Oman, are making efforts to recover the body,” the statement added.
