Muscat-bound flights suspended as Oman imposes travel ban

Prior, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar suspended all flights with Bangladesh due to the coronavirus flare-up 

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has chosen to suspend its flights to Oman from Tuesday as the nation today cinched a movement restriction on all outsiders entering it. The move comes in the wake of a couple of other Middle Eastern countries making comparative strides because of the episode of the worldwide coronavirus pandemic. 

"According to the movement boycott gave by the Supreme Committee of Oman, any non-Omani national won't be permitted to enter Oman, successful until further notification," Biman's Managing Director and CEO Md Mokabbir Hossain told the media today. 

He said Biman had suspended all its 14 week after week flights to and from Muscat from Tuesday following the choice by the Oman specialists, reports BSS. 

He included that the present Muscat departure from Chittagong (flight BG121) had been rescheduled for 6:15pm rather than 9:30pm.

Mokabbir said Biman would work an exceptional ship departure from Jeddah at 7:30 am (Saudi Arabia neighborhood time) Tuesday to bring back Bangladeshi nationals who had essentially gone to the realm to perform Umrah. 

Remote Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen had before proclaimed that individuals from Europe and different countries, for example, Saudi Arabia, which limited Bangladeshis' entrance into their domains over the coronavirus, couldn't enter Bangladesh till March 31. 

 

The boycott prohibits the individuals who might be going from Britain.
