Need Urgent blood donors in Oman

 A shortage of donors has led to the Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) calling for urgent donations at Bausher on Sunday.

A statement issued online by the DBBS said: "We call on blood group holders ( O-ve and +ve / A- / B) to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank, because of the low number of donors in these blood types.”

"In order to follow precautionary measures against the spread of coronavirus, a limited number of donors to be present in the blood bank at the same time. Accordingly, blood donors are kindly requested to contact the blood bank to book an appointment for blood donation and to ensure that they are not late by calling 94555648," the statement added.
