Nigeria: Wizkid is going to Sultanate of Oman

Nigerian artist Wizkid is set to perform at the Intercontinental Gardens in Muscat, Oman on 7 November.

This would be Wizkid’s first performance in the Sultanate. The event, courtesy of Masslow Events and Kpopsy Entertainment, was originally slated for 1 November and Wizkid is set to hit the stage to the delight of his Middle East fans.

Wizkid will perform in a country, which has played host to such international artists as Angelique Kidjo and Mr P (P Square) as well as East and South African artists. Besides hosting these top African artists, the Omani music scene is also awash with Afrobeats as local DJs play hits by African stars back to back.

The event is fresh off the heels of his sold-out Starboy Fest event in London followed by his recent nomination at the Soul Train Awards alongside Beyoncé for ‘Brown Skin Girl’ in the Best Collaboration Performance and Ashford and Simpson Songwriter's categories.
