Oman weather: Cyclone Maha 510km away from Masirah Island

Muscat: Tropical cyclone Maha has been downgrade to category two, and is about 510 km from Masirah island, Oman’s Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said on Tuesday.

"Wind speed drop around Maha cyclone center to 85-95 knots, and it’s rating decreased to Category 2 tropical cyclone. It is currently located 510 km from the nearest point of the Sultanate (Masirah Island),” the statement from PACA said.
