Omani citizens safe in Beirut, says embassy

 The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Beirut said that all Omani citizens who are in Beirut are fine and healthy.

The embassy said in a statement, "In sympathy with the unfortunate explosion that rocked the Lebanese capital today. The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Beirut confirms that all Omani citizens who are in Beirut are fine and grateful, and thank all who contacted to check on them."

"The embassy extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and we ask God to heal all the injured," the statement added.
