Security forces support efforts to tackle COVID-19

The Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) and the other security departments continue to offer support services to institutions and establishments in response to the decisions of the Supreme Committee tasked with the mechanism to tackle the development of COVID-19 pandemic.

The services offered by them come within the efforts of the Sultanate to address the developments of COVID-19.

The Royal Army of Oman, represented by the Medical Services of Sultan's Armed Forces offer medical support and services to citizens and residents in order to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) offers transport and medical evacuations services while the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) transports oil derivatives and other supplies and commodities to the Governorate of Musandam.

The military and security bodies have activated the joint checkpoints at the entries and exits of the governorates.

The Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) and Royal Oman Police (ROP) urge citizens and residents to observe the instructions issued and to fully adhere to the decisions of the Supreme Committee tasked with the mechanism to tackle the development of COVID-19 pandemic and for the motorists to comply with keeping their identity cards and resident cards while driving at all times.
