Seven expats arrested in Oman for violations
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested seven expat workers for violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee in charge of dealing with COVID-19.
A statement issued online by the ROP, said: “The North Al Batinah Police Command arrested three expatriates for selling clothes, one for tailoring clothes, two more for running a laundry service and one expatriate for undertaking barbershop activities.”
“Two violation notices were issued for non-compliance with the measures and conditions of the permitted activities. Both establishments have been ordered to close for a period of two months,” the statement added.
