Several shops closed in Oman due to violations

An inspection by concerned teams of Muscat Municipality, of commercial shops and stores to ensure compliance with rules has resulted in the closure of several shops.

“Muscat Municipality has closed a number of shops and multi-purpose stores because of the practice of carrying on activities without municipal licenses, and some of them for expiry of the license to practice those activities.” - Muscat Municipality

The Municipality emphasizes the importance of licenses as a protection for the legality of the activity and commitment to the requirements associated with the law.
