Thailand authorities issued new travel measures: Oman Embassy

Thailand authorities announced new travel measures in the country which include banning tourists from entering the country and limiting flights to evacuated its citizens only.

The Sultanate Embassy in Bangkok said in a statement, "The Thai authorities have announced new measures and procedures which allow the entry of some categories of foreigners in a limited manner, including patients and those who have work permits or residency permits. Tourists are not allowed to enter at the present moment."

"Travel is currently limited for evacuation flights for Thai citizens abroad," the embassy added.
