Omani diver breaks Asian record in free diving

Omani diver Ibrahim Al Salatni has managed to break the Asian record for free diving clocking a time of 8.07 minutes. The previous record was for Japan at 7.51 minutes.

Al Salatni said, "I dedicate this achievement to my country, when this achievement is mentioned, the Sultanate of Oman will be named before Ibrahim Al Salatni ".

Ibrahim managed to break the record in free diving after training for nearly 4 years. He aims to be among the top 10 divers in the world.
