International Atomic Energy Agency experts to train researchers in Oman

Experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA visited the Sultanate on a training tour, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries announced.

The General Directorate of Agricultural and Livestock Research at the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries said: "Experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) trained researchers at the Directorate in Rumais to install and use cosmic rays to measure soil moisture in order to manage and schedule irrigation water for agricultural crops within the technical cooperation program between the Ministry and the agency."
