Temperature drops to zero in some parts of Oman

Muscat: Al Jabal Al Akhdar and Jabal Shams have recorded temperatures of zero degrees Celsius, the lowest temperature in the Sultanate.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Cold weather with clear skies over most governorates of the Sultanate with chances of low level clouds over parts of Al Wusta Governorate."

"The expected maximum and minimum temperature will be 23 degrees and 10 degrees in Muscat, 22 degrees and 10 in Sohar, 24 degrees and 9 degrees in Ibri and 24 degrees and 7 degrees in Nizwa."

According to Oman News Agency, the highest temperature on Monday is forecast to be 26 degrees in the wilayat of Salalah and the lowest is zero degrees at Al Jabal Al Akhdar and Jabal Shams.
