Eid Al Adha holidays announced in Oman

Eid al-Adha holidays have been announced for residents in Oman.

The holidays will begin on Thursday, August 31, and end on Monday, September 4, for private sector workers.

“Eid holidays for the private sector are set to start on Thursday, August 31 until Monday, September 4,” according to a statement from the Ministry of Manpower.

Accordingly, Arafa Day which is 9th Dhul Hijja, 1438 AH shall be on Thursday, 31 August 2017. Therefore, Friday, 10th Dhul Hijja, 1438 AH — corresponding to 1 September 2017 — shall be the first day of Eid Al Adha.
