Royal Oman Police: Want to join the force?

Royal Oman Police (ROP) are looking for 98 new officers, officials have announced.

The ROP has called for Omanis to apply to 98 positions across various departments, including those who hold degrees in Engineering, Telecommunications, English Language, and Forensics. 

Applicants must have attested degrees, with a final grade of 'good' or higher. Applicants must also be younger than 30 years old if they are applying for Bachelor Degree positions, and younger than 27 if they are applying for Diploma positions.

Those applying must be registered with the General Authority for Manpower Register, and must be of good conduct, with no criminal convictions.

Individuals applying must have spoken and written profficiency in English, and must pass interviews, medical tests, and fitness tests per ROP regulations.

Individuals must also have computer application proficiency, and applicants will be subject to a military training program.

Those interested, and in compliance with the specified conditions, must apply through the following text message instructions: send " # AJ" to 80057. The application period begins on Sunday, 6th of August 2017, and ends on Thursday 10th of August 2017.
