The guitar has been the star of the Spanish Cultural Week that is currently being celebrated in Oman. As part of the cultural cooperation between the Kingdom of Spain and the Sultanate of Oman, world renowned classical guitarist, Rafael Serrallet performed two concerts, the first on Tuesday 24th October at the OSFrA (Omani Spanish Friendship Association) and the second on Wednesday evening 25th October at the Museum Bait Al Zubair.

Serrallet delighted audiences by performing a Spanish repertoire by composers including Falla, Albéniz, Granados, Sor, Donostia and Ferrandiere.

With a career spanning twenty five years and more than a thousand concerts across eighty countries, Serrallet is one of the most internationally experienced concertist among the Spanish performers.

Serrallet's performances displayed his outstanding skill as a musician, providing a wonderful representation of Spanish music, culture and artistry.

As well as the concerts, Rafael Serrallet also provided a lecture in the University Sultan Qaboos where the students of the Department of music and musicology had an opportunity to learn more about Spanish classical music.
