Sohar port in Oman recieves vessel carrying iron ore

 The Sohar port on Thursday recieved the vessel 'Pacific Mariner', which is set to discharge 400,000 tons of iron ore at the Vale pier.

A statement issued online by Sohar Port and Freezone said: "Sohar Port has received the ‘Pacific Mariner’ vessel, which is set to discharge 400,000 tons of iron ore at the Vale pier."

"Vale imports millions of tons annually to pellet it and re-export it," the statement added.
