UAE Extends Nafis Employment Programme Until 2040

The UAE recently extended its vital Nafis employment programme until 2040. UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan directed this major extension.

The initiative actively empowers local talent to grow the national economy.

Leadership Drives Emiratisation Goals

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan announced the exciting timeline extension today. He serves as Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE.

He also chairs the influential Presidential Court. The government wants to strengthen the role of citizens in private business.

New Family Support Initiatives

Officials introduced several great enhancements during the Year of the Family. A brand new program supports children of hardworking Emirati mothers.

These mothers must hold jobs within the private sector. Another new program specifically supports wives of employed Emirati citizens.

The government also expanded the existing children's financial allowance significantly. They completely removed the previous cap on the number of children.

This generous policy change strongly reinforces overall family stability.

Massive Employment Success So Far

The Nafis programme boasts incredible employment statistics today. The initiative successfully secured jobs for 176,000 Emiratis already.

Currently, 152,000 citizens actively work inside the dynamic private sector. Women represent a massive 74 percent of these total program beneficiaries.

Furthermore, 38,000 individuals actively receive the helpful children's financial allowance. Over 32,000 private companies currently employ national talent through Nafis.
