Publishing Spectacular Sales Data

A massive economic report revealed a phenomenal surge in global automotive sales today. Global sales of electric vehicles reached a staggering 11 million units recently. This monumental figure covers the first nine months of the current year. The prestigious consulting firm PwC executed this highly detailed global economic study. The incredible 12 percent sales increase sets a spectacular new global market record.

Dominating the European Market

Europe completely led the massive global growth in electric car sales this year. European consumers purchased approximately 2.5 million electric cars during this nine-month period. This phenomenal number reflects a massive 42 percent increase compared to last year. Germany registered 604,000 new electric cars, marking a spectacular 58 percent year-on-year surge. Germany now ranks as the third largest electric vehicle market globally.

Facing Brutal American Declines

However, the United States market suffered a brutal financial decline recently. New electric car sales in America fell by a catastrophic 29 percent. American consumers purchased only 746,000 electric vehicles during the first nine months. Sales growth also slowed significantly in China, the absolute largest global market.
