Saudi Ministry Marks 15 Million Volunteer Hours in Early 2026

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance reached major volunteering goals during the first quarter of 2026.

Ministry branches across the Kingdom participated actively in these impactful programs.

Massive Participation and Economic Impact

The ministry created 18,570 different volunteer opportunities for citizens this year. Over 203,823 men and women joined these diverse programs.

These dedicated helpers contributed a staggering 15,451,732 volunteer hours in just three months. This hard work generated an economic return exceeding 138 million Saudi Riyals.

This impressive figure reflects the expanding scope of volunteer work in the region. It also highlights the growing societal impact of these charitable efforts.

Serving the Community During Ramadan

Many of these volunteer efforts coincided with the holy month of Ramadan. Volunteers cleaned, sanitized, and perfumed thousands of mosques across the country.

Teams also organized worshippers and guided visitors during busy prayer times. Dedicated volunteers specifically helped the elderly and people with disabilities.

These generous actions provided a suitable environment for everyone to perform rituals with ease. The volunteers ensured tranquility for all worshippers throughout the holy month.

The ministry continues to foster a strong culture of service and community support.
