US Forces to Remain Near Iran During Ceasefire Talks

US President Donald Trump announced his military plans late Wednesday. He stated US forces will remain near Iran.

They will stay there until diplomats secure a real agreement. Washington recently entered a fragile two-week ceasefire with Tehran.

Maintaining Military Pressure

The recent Tuesday truce currently shows signs of unravelling. Israel continues bombarding Lebanon heavily.

Washington also contradicts several Iranian demands. These disagreements complicate the planned upcoming peace talks.

Trump posted a strong message on his Truth Social platform. He confirmed all American ships and military personnel will stay in place.

The military will wait for full compliance with a real agreement. The President considers a failed deal highly unlikely right now.

However, he threatened bigger and stronger military strikes. He will order these strikes if diplomats fail to reach an agreement.

He added that the American military is resting and loading up. The forces eagerly await their next potential conquest.

Demands Over the Strait of Hormuz

Iran recently agreed to reopen the vital Strait of Hormuz. This key chokepoint normally handles one-fifth of global oil shipments.

However, Iranian leaders claim they will maintain total dominion over it.

Addressing Nuclear Enrichment

Iranian state media circulated a new list of demands in Farsi. The Islamic Republic insists Washington must accept its uranium enrichment program.

Officials excluded this specific demand from their earlier UN documents. Trump promised he will handle the enrichment issue during future deals.

Diplomats plan to hold official negotiations in Pakistan soon. Trump stated Iran will never possess any nuclear weapons.

He also demanded a completely open and safe Strait of Hormuz.
