Egyptair Flight Returns To Muscat As Passenger Creates Ruckus

An EgyptAir flight on the Muscat-Cairo sector returned minutes after take-off in the early hours of Tuesday because of an unruly passenger. EgyptAir said, “One of our flights, coming from Muscat, returned because of an unruly passenger, who created nuisance for others.”

The MS931 flight from Muscat, with 78 passengers on board, finally arrived at Cairo airport at 11am on Tuesday, about four hours late than scheduled, EgyptAir said.

“The delay occurred because the plane returned to Muscat airport. The passenger was handed over to the authorities at Muscat International Airport,” an official at the airline told Muscat Daily .
