Gmail users, your 'favourite inbox' is set to change. Google is planning to introduce some big changes to the way users use Gmail. The upcoming changes in Gmail for Web have reportedly got revealed in an email sent by Google to administrators of G Suite accounts. The email also says that the changes will also be appearing on the consumer version of the Gmail. The message hints at a fresh, clean look for Gmail on the web. Easy access to apps like Calendar from inside Gmail

Google will be making it a whole lot easier for Gmail users to access apps without leaving the mail or closing it. The search giant is also said to make accessing G Suite apps easier.

Smart Replies

Soon, Gmail users will not have to type all the replies, specially the obvious ones like ‘Thank You’, ‘Let’s go’ or similar phrases in emails as Gmail will be suggesting these pre-typed replies. This feature is already available in Google’s Inbox and apps like Allo.

Users can snooze emails

Gmail users are also likely to get the ability to snooze emails. This means that they will be able to snooze an email so that it pops up in your Gmail inbox at a specified time.

New user interface

In addition to all the above features, Google will also be rolling out a major design change in its Gmail for web version. The company recently confirmed the news to The Verge as well. According to some leaks and rumours, the UI is supposed to become more attractive with the use of more colours and less cluttered look.
