Gas field in Oman begins production ahead of schedule

Muscat: The Ghazeer gas field has begun production ahead of schedule.

A statement issued online by OQ said: "Following the successful startup of Khazzan in 2017, we are pleased to announce along with our partners BP , Petronas and the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, the commencement of gas production from Ghazeer ahead of schedule which will add another 0.5 bcf/d and over 30,000 bpd condensate production."
