COVID-19: ROP warns against fraudulent ads

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has called out to all to not pay attention to advertisements that claim to provide treatment for COVID-19.

A statement issued online by ROP said, ”The Directorate General of Inquiries and Investigations has warned against fraudulent advertisements circulating on electronic means of communication which claims to provide treatment for coronavirus.”

“The Royal Oman Police calls upon everyone to exercise caution while doing electronic transactions and not to pay attention to such advertisements,” the statement added.
