1,619 new coronavirus cases registered in Oman

 The Ministry of Health has registered 1,619 new coronavirus cases in Oman on Friday.

Among those, 370 new cases were of expats and 1,249 of Omanis.

The total cases in the country has now touched 64,193, including recoveries and deaths, according to MOH.

41,450 persons have recovered from COVID-19 so far.

The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.
