25,000 jobs in Oman: Citizens Express Gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan

Following the government’s decision to provide 25,000 vacancies for Omani job seekers, citizens took it to social media to express their gratitude to His Majesty.

Minutes after the news broke, “#Thank_you_father_Qaboos” is now the most trending Twitter hashtag in Oman.

“Yes, thank you. You are a father to every citizen in this country. God bless you,” said twitter user @yassir3593481.

“Thank you 25,000 times” @hinai2014 tweeted.

Earlier on Wednesday, in a statement released by Oman News Agency, the Council of Ministers said that they will be providing 25,000 jobs in the public and private sectors starting this December. “This is a translation to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said’s care to the Omani youth,” the statement added.
