282 VENDORS HELD FROM MAWALEH MARKET

The Ministry of Manpower (MoM) has announced the arrest of 282 merchants from the Central Fruits and Vegetables Market in Mawaleh in the main quarter of 2019. The captures were made by the service's assessment groups, in participation with the concerned specialists. 

The service said that 106 of these were runaway laborers while 176 worked in callings other than that predefined in their visas. "Among those arrested from the Mawaleh market, 15 had tailoring listed as their profession, trailed by laundry (eight), cooks (six) and domestic workers (six). The remainder of those captured workers were from the construction sector.”
