Agriculture Ministry re-opens A’Seeb fish market

The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has re-opened A'Seeb fish market after a three-month lockdown due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.

Ibrahim bin Abdullah al-Qartoobi, Director of Fisheries Department in the Wilayat of A'Seeb, said that, for the time being, only 30% of the market’s capacity will be utilized, which means only fishermen, salesmen, fish cutters (filleters) and inhabitants of the Wilayat of A'Seeb will be allowed to frequent the market.
