Algerian Artists Honor Miniature Master Mohamed Tamam

Algerian artists opened a beautiful group exhibition today. They honor the late visual artist Mohamed Tamam.

The National Public Museum of Ancient Arts hosts this commemorative event.

Tamam passed away over fifty years ago. Nine of his dedicated students organized this vibrant display.

They want to recall his genius in miniature drawing and gilding. The paintings reflect their profound affection for their former professor.

The exhibition features incredible works from artists like Ali Karbouch and Said Bouarour. It also includes ten original paintings by Tamam himself.

Museum governor Ezz El-Din Antri praised Tamam for preserving Islamic arts. Tamam managed this specific museum from 1963 until his death.
