Attempt to smuggle cigarettes into Oman foiled

 Oman Customs has thwarted an attempt to smuggle illegal cigarettes into the Sultanate.

Oman Customs said in a statement: "Al Buraimi Customs stopped the smuggling of restricted and prohibited cigarettes, hidden inside boxes containing plastic cups."
