Avoid swimming during khareef season

Tourists have been asked to stay vigilant while visiting beaches and to avoid swimming during the Khareef season.

The Ministry of Tourism, in a warning, said, "Dear tourist, please be careful and vigilant while getting close to beaches during the Salalah Monsoon (Khareef) season, and avoid swimming due to high sea waves."
