Bank Muscat has issued a warning over this scam attempt

An advert purporting to be from Bank Muscat offering rersidents the chance to win a car is fake, the bank has advised, and people should not engage with the people who posted it.

The advert, bearing the logo of the bank, offers residents the chance to win the car but Bank Muscat management has warned that customers should not reveal their personal banking details to the people behind the ad.



 

"We would like to report that the attached advertisement that is being circulated on Facebook is a scam attempt and does not represent Bank Muscat," the online statement revealed.
