Cabinet allocates RO100mn for fuel prices affected

The Council of Ministers on Sunday decided to allocate around RO100 million in the State budget to support the section of the society that has been affected by the deregulation and fluctuation in fuel prices.

This comes within the framework of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said's continuous improvement of the living standards of the citizens and his directives to the government to take the necessary action to achieve this approach.

The details of the procedures and mechanisms will be announced in January, 2018.
