Child has died after he fell into a drain, Oman

A child has died after he fell into a drain, Oman's rescue authorities have announced.

The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) had received a call informing them of the incident at Dima wa'Tayeen in Al Sharqiyah, and rushed to the spot.

However, PACDA later announced in a statement online that the child was found by members of his family and was taken to the hospital, but he had already died.
