Cyclists violating rules will face legal action: Royal Oman Police

Legal measures will be taken against cyclists who use main and service roads without taking the necessary precautions, Royal Oman Police said.

A statement issued online by ROP said: “It has been observed recently that some bicyclists ride on main and service roads without taking the necessary precautions and in a way that poses a danger to them and road users.”

“The Royal Oman Police is drawing the attention of this group that it will take legal measures against violators.” the statement added.
