Dust storms forecast for parts of Oman

Parts of the Sultanate will witness dust storms in the coming 24 hours.

The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said in a statement: "Chances of dust storms due to the active northwest winds blowing over the Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah and Al Wusta governorates and desert areas of Dhofar Governorate from today until tomorrow evening."

In general, the weather forecast for Monday is clear to partly cloudy skies in coastal area of Dhofar Governorate and clear skies over most of the other governorates with chances of scattered rainfall over the Al Hajar mountains and adjoining areas during the afternoon.
