Empowerment Forum Opens In South Al Batinah To Enhance Institutional Performance

Focusing On Sustainable Impact

The Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs opened a major forum today. The “Tamkeen” forum began its activities in the South Al Batinah Governorate. The event operates under the slogan “Job Proficiency Towards a Sustainable Institutional Impact.” Approximately 300 participants joined the three-day educational and professional development event. His Excellency Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Rashidi sponsored the official opening ceremony. He serves as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs. The forum aims to develop employees’ capabilities and enhance their professional skills. It focuses heavily on corporate governance, sustainability, and institutional empowerment.

Linking Training To The Workplace

Organizers want to link training outputs directly to actual work environment requirements. This strategy contributes to raising performance efficiency and improving overall service quality. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Siyabi delivered a speech during the opening ceremony. He reviewed the specific objectives and thematic themes of the comprehensive forum. The first day included a panel discussion titled "From Empowerment to Sustainable Institutional Impact." Dr. Bakheet Al-Shibli moderated the session, which included four specialized working papers. Presenters discussed institutional empowerment, training, corporate governance, and enabling work environments. Laila Al-Harthi reviewed Omantel’s experience regarding the quality of work life.

Developing Human Competencies

The forum will continue with workshops on formulating institutional goals accurately. It will conclude with a workshop on managing institutional change effectively.
