First postage stamp with image of His Majesty launched

Muscat: The first postage stamp decorated with the image of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has been launched on Thursday.  

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency, ( ONA ), said: “As per the orders from His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Belarab Bin Haitham Bin Tarik Al Said sponsors the inauguration ceremony of the first postage stamp decorated with the image of His Majesty the Sultan.” 

His Highness also inaugurated a commemorative postage stamp to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the blessed renaissance. The event was organized by Oman Post, in cooperation with the National Museum.
