For wages protection system through PASI’, update ’Omani workers’ details

The Ministry of Manpower said that the details of wages of expatriate manpower should be updated through the Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI).

Through the portals of employers using the “Service of amendment /revision of wages of non-Omani manpower”, the details of wages of expatriate manpower should be updated.

Also at the bank branches in which their accounts are registered, the employers should ensure that their establishments are registered in the wages protection system (WPS).

According to the new formula, the ministry urges employers to commit to wage transfers, starting with November 2017 wages. Finally, to comply with the new formula, the ministry will grant a period of three months for employers and will not accept any other formula after the end of February 2018.
