Government quashes rumours of bank employee in Oman having COVID-19

Muscat: The Government has denied rumours about a bank employee having contracted COVID-19.

The Oman Government Communications Centre (GC) said in a statement: "We would like to clarify what is being circulated about the infection of a female employee with COVID-19 at a bank branch in Salalah (Dahariz), this is incorrect."

"We invite everyone not to publish rumours and take information from reliable official sources," the statement added.
