Heavy fog over coastal areas of Oman in the morning

Coastal areas of the Sultanate are witnessing heavy fog cover and meteorology officials have warned the public to stay cautious.

According to the Public authority for Civil Aviation, the thick fog is likely to continue until the early hours of this morning.

In a statement, PACA said: ”Warning, currently, at 3:30 am, the coastal areas overlooking the Sea of ​​Oman have dense fog that limits visibility to less than 1 km. So please pay attention when driving vehicles as well as When sailing. It [the fog] is likely to continue into the early hours of this morning.”
