Here’s how you can manage your diabetes during Ramadan!

In a video online, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) advised people with diabetes to take care of themselves during the Holy month of Ramadan.

Officials advice diabetic patients to make sure they carry a piece of candy or some sugar and to eat it when they start noticing symptoms of hypoglycemia.

In the video PACDA says, "If you have diabetes be sure to take your medicine and eat breakfast and the suhoor meal. Always carry a piece of sugar or candy, to eat when you start noticing the symptoms of hypoglycemia. Also, avoid doing hard work during the fast period."
