Horse riders display skills in Oman’s Wilayat of Manah

Horse riders of Al Shumookh Equestrian Club and horse owners in the Wilayat of Manah showcased at the Eid Prayer yard in Manah in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah their skills in horse riding.

The traditional horse performance was attended by Sheikh Dr. Khalifa bin Hamad Al Sa'adi, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, Sheikh Musallam bin Mohammed Al Wahshi, Wali of Manah and Abdullah bin Salem Al Junaibi, Representative of the Wilayat of Manah in Majlis Al Shura.

The performances included Al Tahroub (Local traditional art performed on horse back while riding), Al Ardha race (Omani Local Race) and Challenge Race.

At the end of the performance, the winners of challenge round were honoured.

Horse riders and owners in Manah organise similar performances during national and religious occasions in a bid to revive the heritage of forefathers and create an atmosphere of joy for everyone.
