International drug gang arrested in Oman

The Royal Oman Police have arrested an international drug gang in Muscat on Wednesday.

In a statement issued online, ROP said: "The General Department for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances arrested last night an international smuggling gang consisting of three accused, including a citizen."

"ROP seized 40 molds of hashish drugs, 1,029 tablets of psychotropic substances, two and a half grams of heroin, and half a kilogram of opium," ROP added.
