Oman's Blood Bank has issued an urgent call for O+ blood donations, after thanking residents for blood donations yesterday following a major accident.
 

The Department of Blood Banks Services has issued thanks to individuals who responded for their call for donations yesterday, following a major accident that took place on the Muscat-Nizwa road yesterday morning that left 25 people injured.

"Many thanks and appreciation to those who responded to the call yesterday, and to those who contributed to spreading the news."

"Due to the urgent need for O+, we call on people of this blood type to donate blood today," the agency posted.
