It’s Time to Celebrate Diwali in Oman Despite the Austerity

The Diwali would be celebrated by the residents in Oman this year provided everyone would do so in a collective fashion.

In the words of the Indian Social Club (ISC) Oma, celebrations in communities would be ideal for everyone particularly in situations where people are no willing to spend money on luxury matters. All the expenses could be pooled together and entertainment activities could be conducted and thus the need for spending too much could be curtailed. As most of them have friends than relatives over here, they could spend a great time together.

Bombay sweets, one of the largest sweet vendors in the country have made the arrangements to of three tonnes of sweets while anticipating the orders this year. Despite the financial crunch, the consumers are in a mood to spend and enjoy and celebrate the occasions like these in the words of financial experts despite the financial crunch felt in the country.

Unlike the popular belief where people wants to spend less during times of financial crunch, the opposite is what happens during festivals and celebration time as people barely hold them back while spending for such occasions.  The sale of silver and gold items are expected to rise in the coming days. Finally, people would be spending this year on Diwali unlike the previous ones with caution.
